Poems 4 Julia

[The Story]
It all started because I was reading poems to my daughter each night before bed. I have always been a songwriter so I decided to give writing kids poems a shot. I guess I thought that she might enjoy some funny poems about her and her world. Well we've had a lot of fun and I have a non-commercial website www.poems4julia.com which has become a place to store our favorites. This particular poem is about getting past the facade and looking deeper into those around you.
[The Poem]
[Light]
There's a place where the light just stops
And there's nothing left to see
I can feel but I can't see you
And I know you can't see me
Somewhere where the light just stops
It's strange and yet it's true
For the first time I can see
The real me and the real you
